Our new Skalleague Krishnan Miglani, President and General Manager of Zingari will host us again at this popular San Francisco night-spot known for its Italian cuisine and jazz.  Zingari Ristorante is an exquisite Italian jewel nestled one block away from Union Square in the heart of San Francisco's Theatre District. Here since 1995 and staying true to the meaning of its name Zingari, which means Gypsy, it features contemporary dishes and cuisines from all regions of Italy.

This would be a marvelous venue to bring prospective future Skalleagues or to introduce a prospective Young Skalleague to the advantages of a Skal membership.

SIUSA PRESIDENT LLANA SMITH VISITS BAY AREA
ON SWING THROUGH REGION III CLUBS

SF Skal board members met with SIUSA President Llana Smith at a recent San Jose Skal dinner, as she prepared to visit Sacramento, site of the 2013 NAASC Congress and Reno/Tahoe to attend the Winter SIUSA board meeting the weekend of January 28th ... She encouraged all Bay Area Clubs to support Sacramento as they prepared for the forthcoming Congress in 2013. We would like to encourage San Francisco Skal members not only to attend the San Jose dinner meetings when they are in the area, but especially to plan to attend the NAASC Congress in Sacramento in April 2013.  More on that Congress later.

After a reception and tour in San Jose, he also took time out of his busy schedule to attend the memorial service for David Hodgson, before returning to the city to attend the reception at the Fairmont, appropriately held in the Presidential Suite.
